How does Cloud IP PBX work?

Our Cloud IP PBX is delivered through a carrier-grade Softswitch.  It is equipped with many Softswitch features and Enterprise Telephony features.   It is based on VoIP technologies and mainly operates over the SIP protocol.  As long as you have an Internet connection in the office, you can enjoy Cloud IP PBX service.

What do I need in order to use the Cloud IP PBX service?

In order to enjoy our Cloud IP PBX service, you will need to have an active Internet connection with any service providers.  In addition, you will need an Internet-Protocol (IP) phone or softphone in order for you to make or receive calls.

Do I need to subscribe to SIP trunking from Singtel or other providers?

Our Cloud packages come with telco services such as SIP channels and Singapore level-6 DDI numbers.  You can increase SIP channel and DDI number if you believe is not sufficient for your business operations.   Should you already subscribed with SIP trunking service from other providers, you can set up the Cloud IP PBX to peer with them without terminating or porting over the services.

Do I need to buy an IP Phone?

You will need either an IP Phone or a VoIP softphone in order to make calls or receive calls through our network.   If you do not have an IP Phone or a VoIP softphone, you will only be able to receive calls via the PSTN/GSM network through our call forwarding/diverting feature.

Can I downgrade or upgrade plan?

You can upgrade or download the plan anytime you like.  If you are downgrading your plan during the contract period, you will need to pay the difference in the contracts price.

Must I use your IP Phone or I can use my existing phones?

You do not have to use our phones if you already have a compatible SIP phone.  We support SIP phone from vendors such as Cisco, Avaya, Alcatel, Yealink, Grandstream, and many more.

Is there a minimum number of users?

There is no minimum user to sign up.  However, we have carefully planned the packages to support most companies needs.  Should you need something below our entry package, you are advised to check out our digital voice plans.  If you needed something more, please contact our sales representatives for a custom package at sales@voxclaire.com

Besides the monthly subscription, what other charges do I need to pay?

Besides the monthly subscription for the plan, you will be charged monthly for the call usage based on outgoing call minutes.  In addition, there is a one-time charge for service turn-on as well as the purchase of IP phone, if any.

I like to retain my existing landline number, is it possible?

Just sign up for our service and we will help you to port over your existing number(s) to our system.  All you need to do is to authorize us to handle the number porting on your behalf.

What happens if I move office?

The IP Phone is plug-and-play.  When you move your office to another premises, you can simply bring along the IP Phone.  If you need assistance to help in the migration, we are always glad to support the relocation.

I am a foreigner; can I sign up your service?

For a foreigner, you are required to produce your identification documents and proof of residence.  Once verified, you can sign up with our service.

What documents do I need to provide?

For individuals, you are required (by IMDA) to produce your identification document such as NRIC or passport (foreigner) before we can turn on the service.  For corporate customers, you are required to provide the ACRA biz profile for proof of incorporation in Singapore, and the identification documents of the applicant.

How do I terminate the service?

To terminate the service with us, please write to support@voxclaire.com.  The notice period for termination is 30 days.
